What you can expect is meeting someone who will be professional and caring, and is trained to work on your problem. Your paperwork (which you will have filled out prior to the session) is discussed, as well as the issue you want to be addressed. The hypnotherapist will explain hypnosis and how it works in relation to your particular issue. Prior to hypnosis, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. As you continue to relax, you become suggestible to healthy information imparted to you by the hypnotherapist. You are in control at all times. You are not asleep. In fact you actually have a sense of heightened awareness.
