Essy Freed is a clinical hypnotherapist and licensed clinical social worker. Essy's expertise as a hypnotherapist continues to assist people in many areas. Those areas include stopping smoking, weight loss/management, public speaking, stress reduction, depression, anxiety, as well as a host of other concerns. Essy previously instructed and student supervised at the Hypnosis Motivation Institute (Georgia State approved school of hypnotherapy). She lectures on the subject of hypnosis and its uses to numerous businesses and educational institutes. Essy continues to stay up-to-date by attending educational seminars and receiving ongoing clinical literature from organizations such as the Hypnosis Research Institute.
Essy was a founder and past president of the National Hypnotherapy Association, and board member of the Atlanta Area Hypnotherapists. She is presently a member of the Georgia Social Work Oncology Group and the Georgia Society for Clinical Social Work. She is a licensed practitioner for the Spiritual Living Center of Atlanta, and facilitator of their Care Ministry. Essy’s hospice social work experience (since 1996) compliments her practice and offers comfort and support to those experiencing grief and loss.
